Many people think that planning a safari holiday must be done far, far in advance. But did you know that you can actually plan a superb safari at very short notice? You can even plan last minute safari holiday for the next few days! Below are five tips if you’re thinking of jetting off to Africa soon:
Make yourself available. If you’re squeezing a process that can ordinarily take a couple of weeks into just a few days, you’ll need to be around to answer any questions about your holiday plans.
Be decisive. You’ll need to make decisions quite quickly.
Remember that if you’ve contacted various tour operators, confusion may occur if they’re all holding flights and accommodation for you.
Trust in your tour operator’s expertise. If you’ve been researching accommodation for your holiday already, it’s worth remembering that camps and lodges can become full very quickly so you might not be able to stay in your original first choice. Remember though, your tour operator is an expert in safaris. They’ll choose somewhere with equally good wildlife, service, food and comfort levels.
Check your emails frequently. With just a few days to arrange this holiday the easiest way to exchange documents is electronically.
