Finding a great holiday that does not cost the earth can sometimes feel like an impossible task, especially if you are restricted to holidaying during school holidays as most companies put their price’s up during these periods.

There are a few places that you can look to find the best deal. Often you can find a similar holiday on a comparison or discount site that you would see on a tour operator’s site for a lot less money. Some of the discount sites such as Groupon or Discount Vouchers offer fantastic deals on holidays suitable for families, couples and groups. Sometimes these are just for the accommodation and other time they offer complete packages with entertainment and activities as part of the deal.

Always remember to read a few reviews about a location and the accommodation before booking, as it may be that certain places are offering stays cheap as they are not busy, which could be a sign of poor customer service or facilities etc.
