A trip to Thailand

If you are looking for a holiday with a difference and want to try something new and away from the traditional beach holiday, then a trip to Thailand may be perfect for you. Thailand is a country at the centre of the Indochinese peninsula in Southeast Asia. It is packed with culture and history and is a very vibrant country. The capital of Thailand is Bangkok, which is one of the most interesting cities in the world and has grown in popularity year upon year.
When holidaying in Thailand, you can expect to be greeted with a number of local people offering their street cuisine and tempting you in to local bars and restaurants to allow you to sample the lifestyle. There are a number of high end restaurants in Bangkok that you can visit or plenty of little more traditional places if you are feeling a little more adventurous.
Thailand does have some very strict rules on certain things and as of this month, they have introduced a smoking ban on a number of popular tourist beaches. If you are planning a trip to Thailand, make sure you do plenty of research to not only find out about the location but what you can and can’t do in different areas.
