Family getaways to Blackpool

- Apr
Many of us are already planning where we may go when lock down is restricted. Blackpool can be great fun for all the family and if as predicted lockdown is not properly lifted until the end of summer, Blackpool may be a popular choice.
It is not necessarily known for its glamor, but does have a great pier, fair suitable for all ages and if you go in or after October, you can see the whole area lit up with an array of beautiful lights.
There are also a number of attractions that you may want to visit whilst staying in Blackpool such as Blackpool tower, Madame Tussauds, Blackpool pleasure beach and Blackpool Zoo.
There really is something for all the family regardless of what interests you. An average price for a stay in a two – three star hotel in Blackpool for the weekend (Friday and Saturday night) is £60 – £100 per night, meaning that it is within most people’s budget. Blackpool may not be as romantic as Paris or as picturesque as Rome but certainly is a great place to visit if you want fun and adventure.
If you have never seen the Blackpool illuminations, be sure to check when they are on and if possible coincide your trip with those date, but be sure to book your accommodation early.
