Camping in Europe

Camping holidays can be great fun for all the family. They often work out cheaper than a stay in hotel or villa and if you find the right site, you do not have to venture far to find entertainment. France and Spain have a lot of camp sites that have a wide range of accommodation from a standard tent (although this is not your usually 4 man tent) through to a log cabin. The tents are often equipped with a cooker, fridge, freezer and real beds along with BBQ’s and outdoor furniture.
With these holidays you usually need to organise your own transport to and from the camp site. You may wish to drive there and catch the ferry or go through the Euro Tunnel or you can chose to fly. This will of course add money on to the holiday but if you are flexible as to when you go you may be able to find relatively cheap flights.
