Going on holiday – Home or abroad?

So you’re looking to book your summer holiday, but do you choose to stay in the UK or go abroad?
Well it’s no longer the case that a holiday in the UK will save you money as you can get a real bargain booking a last minute trip abroad. Camping costs in the UK have also gone up in recent years and most people actually spend more money during their holiday if they are in the UK rather than abroad.
This could be down to the fact that if the weather is poor in the UK you tend to spend more on indoor things to do with the family such as visiting aquariums or going to water parks.
It is nice sometimes to go abroad especially if you’re after good weather, and you do get the chance to immerse yourself in a new culture whilst away.
Both options have pros and cons but at the end of the day any holiday here or aboard is bound to do you the world of good.
