Travel – advice – don’t leave it to the last minute

The best travel advice anyone can have is to make sure they prepare well in advance. There are very strict guidelines when travelling abroad, and most can be sorted out if you have enough time to do so. Passports seem to be a major issue for many people when it comes to travel as not only do you need to make sure your passport is in date and that you have sufficient pages in it to be stamped, but with the recent changes regarding who needs a passport, you may find that you have to obtain one for a child or baby that didn’t previously require one.
Sorting out holiday insurance also needs to be done in advance and can often be set up a few months early, pending to start the day you go away. It may be that you and your family require vaccinations to visit certain countries, again this sometimes needs to be started a month or so in advance, so you will need to ensure you have this all in place prior to travelling.
