Ensuring you stay protected in the sun when on holiday

- Dec
Sun screen is vitally important for not only holidays abroad but also throughout the summer in the UK. Too many people stick to the idea that unless they are on a beach somewhere overseas they do not need to wear sunscreen. Unfortunate skin cancer is on the increase and there have been many national campaigns recently to not only help people identify the early stages of it but to actually prevent it in the first place.
When packing for a holiday make sure that you have a few different levels of sun protection to allow you to chose the correct one for the conditions. Children should always wear sun block and even then should be kept out of the heat during the most fierce times of the day.
If you are going to be going in the sea or a pool, make sure that your sunscreen is water resistant and read the label to see how often you need to reapply.
