A Holiday away in Barcelona

If you want a Spanish summer holiday that’s got it all, then consider visiting Barcelona for a week. There’s a stunning beach, plenty of historical buildings to visit, and everything you’d asociate with a big city.
It’s the capital of Catalonia, and the wealth of unique intricately detailed architecture is as historic as it gets. The culture in Barcelona is unlike anywhere else, and since the 1990’s it has been recognised as one of the most popular tourist destinations especially among British people.
You can be sitting on the beach in Barcelona with the sun beaming down on you, and behind you is a collection of modern and traditional buildings, and to the front is a peaceful open sea. You can compare it to the European version of Miami, and that’s probably why it’s become one of the most popular destinations for a holiday away.
